As a multifaceted professional genealogist, historian, researcher, and storyteller, our speaker, Sara Dawson, channels her passion into uncovering forgotten narratives connecting clients to their past. She began researching her family over thirty years ago and was fascinated by the similarities and coincidences in both branches of her family tree. In 2017, Sara left her career with the federal government and started Descent Detective, LLC, to help others find their lost history. She spends her time researching for clients and coaching others to conduct independent research.
