Hopping Down the Paper Trail with our guest speaker Sara Cochran.

The records our ancestors left behind often lead us to other records, and sometimes take us down a rabbit hole. Learn how to scour those records for the next clue, and how to prioritize those clues so that you stay on track.

Sara Cochran is a full-time professional genealogist with over twenty-five years of research experience. Her research has taken her into nearly every State in the USA and Ireland, Italy, Austria, and Britain. She holds a Boston University Genealogical Research Certificate, Bachelor's Degree in Library Science, and is an alumnus of the ProGen Study Group. She especially enjoys breaking down brick walls for her clients, discovering the stories of black sheep ancestors, and helping individuals preserve their photographic legacy.

Registration is required via the Chicago Genealogical Society website under Events. Registration will close 1 hour prior to the event. The meet-up will take place virtually via ZOOM. All people registered will receive an email the morning of the event with log-in instructions and a link. This information is not to be shared.

Note: This webinar is FREE for CGS members. Non-Members can register for the event for $10. No refunds.
